What is Solid Surface?
Solid Surface is the collective term for composite materials that are colored throughout the mass. They are solid and homogeneous and can be used for demanding applications.
All Solid Surface products have aluminum trihydrate (ATH) as their base component. Acrylic or polyester resins are used as the second component and binder.
Aluminum hydroxide gives the material high rigidity and also ensures that it is more heat-resistant than other plastics.
Acrylate and/or polyester provide flexibility, which primarily results in good workability and high impact resistance and strength.

Maintaining Solid Surface material
For regular cleaning, you can use a natural cleaning product, such as green soap or cleaning vinegar. If a scratch appears in the material, you can “polish” it again using a sponge and Cif. Do this by making circular motions across the surface. Then thoroughly rinse the cleaned surface with lukewarm water and wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
